Congratulations to CBL Executive Vice President Jennifer Jones, who was named the 2016 Young Banker of the Year by the South Carolina Banker’s Association. The Outstanding Young Banker award is the highest honor presented in the South Carolina banking industry. Jennifer was recognized June 13 at the SCBA Annual Convention. She is pictured here with the 2015 recipient Montague Laffitte of South State Bank.This prestigious honor is chosen by the SCBA Past Chairman’s Club and has been awarded to one deserving banker each year since 1970. Past recipients include many prominent South Carolina bankers.
Jennifer has over 16 years of local banking experience. She is a lifelong Greer resident. She received her degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting, from Presbyterian College. Jones presently is the Chairman of the South Carolina Bankers Association’s Financial Literacy Division. In addition, she is First Vice Chairman on the Board Of Directors for the Young Banker’s Division of the SCBA. She is also serving on the Board of Trustees for Greer’s Partnership for Tomorrow. She is the Chairman for the School Improvement Council at Chandler Creek Elementary, is a Meals on Wheels Volunteer, and is a Member of the Budget and Finance Committee for First Presbyterian Church in Greer.
